Overview

Admin Console version 17.9.1 introduces Universal Secrets Sync (USS) support within the Admin Console. This release adds role-based enforcement policy controls for USS configuration and expands ARAM audit event coverage to include Universal Secrets Sync activity, giving administrators full visibility and access governance over the USS feature.

Keeper's Universal Secrets Sync (USS) enables enterprises to synchronize secrets from Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) to external cloud providers such as AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, and Google Secret Manager. This release adds the Admin Console components needed to govern and audit USS across your organization.

  • Role Enforcement Policy — administrators can now control which roles are permitted to configure Universal Secrets Sync settings, via a new policy option in the Privileged Access Manager > Keeper Secrets Manager (KCM) section of the Role Enforcement Policies screen.

  • ARAM audit events — USS activity is now captured in Advanced Reporting & Alerts Manager, providing a full audit trail of Universal Secrets Sync configuration and usage events

  • Applies to standard, MSP, MC, and GovCloud customers with no additional modifications required.
